Lakeside Coastal Village has plenty of thing to do both on site and off site.
Activities on site include croquet, golf or swimming plus lots more, try Self-guided country walks.
We have recently returned from a weekend stay at Lakeside. We were in a woodland lodge which was lovely with fridge, robes and tea and coffee etc. The activities laid on were very good and special thanks must go to Judy, Raul and Cristian who went the extra mile to make the experience really good. Food was excellent and entertainment good. Would definitely go back.
I have just got back from lakeside today. I really enjoyed myself here, we stayed in a Woodside lodge which was small but really cosy and had everything in it. The room was really clean. Everyone here was really friendly and there was a really nice vibe here. The entertainment was really good, the first two nights were comedians who were really funny and the third night was a staff show. The food was really good, the omelettes in the morning were beautiful.
I originally booked for two nights but we extended for another night while we were here as we were enjoying ourselves so much.
I would recommend this place to others.
Visited in October. The rooms are very clean and well looked after. From start the staff were excellent very polite and helpful. Food was good and a great selection the only problem being it was not always that hot which was a bit of a disappointment. On the entertainment not the best I have seen.Weak in places. I would return and have indeed booked another break for next year.
We (four of us) have just returned from a weekend (Friday to Monday) celebrating a special Birthday. Have not been to this particular Warner's before, but would return. Found the food to be outstanding....The entertainment - a comedian on the Friday and two twins on the Saturday both of whom were excellent, no complaints, service very good, waiting staff were 'on the ball'. Our rooms were cleaned everyday......... Overall would recommend.
Me and my mum came to stay for the Re-Take That weekend. We stayed in Starling, the very last room in the corner and when i saw the outside i was a bit worried, but inside was lovely, clean and warm.
We could not fault the food on both the buffet and options to order from the menu. The chef (i dont know his name) who worked on the left hand side of the restaurant was precise and excellent at his job. Along with David our server who remembered our orders and was friendly and efficient.
The entertainment team definitely worked hard and was good (retake that, abba, disco) but found quite arrogant and did not want to interact with guests, espcially the boys! And definitely did not like the fact i got on the stage to take the win for our team in the music quiz and being told i should be in Butlins instead of there and mocked. It was rude and the other guests agreed after pointing it out to me.
The activities provided are good fun and worth the money. The walk down the estuary is beautiful and we enjoyed a day at the beach too. We also had an amazing massage in the beauty parlour which is worth the money for a treat.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay but just because its adults only does not mean you have to be over 50 and subdued. A bit of fun and energy never hurt anyone
